EN:  Assisted by a young professional, you will learn the first steps of pealing, cutting and stretching the amadou trama, the interior fibers of the Fomes Fomentarius mushroom. . Amadou is one of the most ancient material used by the humanity, Ötzi, the Iceman has got fomes in his daily equipment, 5000 years ago. This craft has got a tradition longer than 2 centuries in Transylvania.  Corund village is the last village of Europe, where active amadou makers lives and activates.. Join us to learn the basics of Wolrd's rarest craft.

Enjoy with your family, friends or class a do-it-yourself amadou making  activity where you will learn how to use the specific curved knive  to peal the hard outer bark of the mushroom, which was previously foraged from beech forest of the Carpathians. After you cut the bands of the trama of the mushroom, you will have the unbelivable experience of stretching the amadou fibers only by your hands, till you will have one of the softest materials in your hand. We will also learn how to use the woden molds for ironing the design elements, or how to braid the material, making nice bracelets. 

Groups from 1 to 5 persons are taken at fixed price of 60 EUR. If the group consists of more than 5 people, participation fee is counted by person.
We explain in English, German, Hungarian and Romanian. 

We  offer this activity all year long, rainy, sunny or winter day, does not  matter. At least one day in advance booking is required.

Asistat de un tânăr profesionist, veți învăța primii pași de decojire, tăiere și întindere a iascăi de fag. Fibrele interioare ale ciupercii Fomes Fomentarius sunt puse în valoare de acest meșteșug, unicat mondial, practicat doar la Corund. Iasca este unul dintre cele mai vechi materiale folosite de omenire, Ötzi, omul de gheață, a avut fomes în echipamentul său zilnic, acum 5000 de ani. Acest meșteșug are o tradiție trecută de 2 secole în Transilvania.  Satul Corund este ultimul sat din Europa în care trăiesc meșteri activi ai acestui meșteșug.  Alăturați-vă nouă pentru a învăța elementele de bază ale celui mai rar meșteșug din Lume.

Bucurați-vă împreună cu familia, prietenii sau clasa de o activitate de confecționare a pieselor din fibrele de iască,  în mod do-it-yourself, unde veți învăța cum să folosiți cuțitul curbat specific pentru a decoji coaja exterioară tare a ciupercii. Ciupercile au fost anterior atent culese din pădurile de fag din Carpați. După ce veți decupa benzile  tramei ciupercii, veți avea experiența inedită de a întinde fibrele de iască doar cu mâinile, până când veți avea în mână unul dintre cele mai moi materiale din lume. De asemenea, vom învăța cum să folosim matrițele din lemn pentru a imprima elementele de design sau cum să împletim materialul, realizând brățări frumoase. 

Grupurile de la 1 la 5 persoane sunt servite la prețul fix de 60 EUR. Dacă grupul este format din mai mult de 5 persoane, taxa de participare se calculează pe persoană.

Oferim această activitate pe tot parcursul anului, zi ploioasă, însorită sau de iarnă, nu contează. Este necesară rezervarea cu cel puțin o zi în avans.
