Începem să pregătim aluatul, să-l rulăm în benzi lungi și subțiri. Magia adevărată apare atunci când înfășurăm aceste benzi în jurul unui cilindru de lemn ușor conic special și le ungem cu unt. Apoi vine partea distractivă - să învârtim aceste conuri înfășurate în zahăr, să transpirăm în jurul cărbunelui învârtind suportul de lemn până când zahărul se caramelizează, apoi alegem între scorțișoară, zahăr și nuci măcinate.
