"We present a new concept, unheard of in Europe, an underwater brewery where you can enjoy a Csiki Sör craft beer and a unique experience.

Here in Covasna, first you have to climb a hill and then you can dive. Underwater, as incredible as it sounds, there is a whole beer garden with a bar, fridge and many other surprises.

Respect for the past and the preservation of traditions are very important to the inhabitants of the Ciuc depression. During communism there was an alcohol factory here, and when we built the underwater brewery, it was also out of respect for tradition that we decided to reuse the old and valuable elements of the brewery. For example, here you can see the bar built from the 5km of rails then existing on the territory of the brewery.

We often tell trainees that you can do anything underwater as well as on the surface. The idea was born on a Saturday evening, full of beer and creativity. The bollard pointing to the Csiki brewery in town would look great underwater. And since we have a mile marker underwater, why not have a whole brewery too!

This underwater bollard not only shows the distance to the brewery but also how many kilometres to the surface! Nothing is accidental.

How long does it take to prepare a person to enjoy a beer underwater?

If the rescued person has never experienced diving before, they should attend a 40-minute pre-dive training. So you don't have to be a certified diver to visit the underwater brewery.

We make sure each person is properly equipped and has understood all the steps from the surface. Safety comes first at the Dalnic Dive Centre.

If you have a detainer in your mouth, how do you drink your beer? How do you manage to drink liquids when you're in one?

Everything is explained to you for a safe dive. We dive in, sit at the bar (there are bar stools), and basically open the beer. The glass has to be covered with a finger, so that the water in the lake doesn't mix with the beer and the fish don't get into the glass. We take the detent out of the mouth and start lifting the bottle. When the bottle is stuck to the mouth we start blowing air into it and this air will push the beer out. We take the bottle opener back, blow air and repeat the action.

The diving regulations prohibit the consumption of alcohol underwater?

Yes, that's why everyone will consume beer at their own risk. Those who don't will be able to enjoy the beer on the surface after finding the long-lost treasure of the seals.

It's sure to be a unique experience for both the participants in the lake and those who stay above ground and watch.

Aici în Covasna, mai întâi trebuie să urcăm un deal ca mai apoi să ne putem scufunda. Sub apă, oricât de incredibil ar suna, se află o întreagă berărie, cu bar, frigider și multe alte surprize.

Pentru locuitorii din depresiunea Ciucului sunt foarte importante respectarea trecutului și pastrarea tradițiilor. În timpul comunismului aici exista o fabrică de alcool, iar în mometul în care am construit beraria subacvatica, tot din acest respect pentru tradiție, am decis să refolosim elementele vechi și valoroase ale fabricii. De exemplu, aici poti vedea barul construit din cele 5km de șine existente atunci pe teritoriul fabricii.

Cursanților le spunem adeseori că sub apă se poate face orice ca si la suprafața. Ideea s-a nascut într-o sâmbătă seară, plina de bere si creativitate. Borna care indica berăria Csiki din oraș s-ar vedea superb sub apă. Și dacă tot avem o bornă kilometrică sub apă, de ce n-am avea și o berărie întreagă?!

Această bornă aflată sub apă nu indică doar distanța până la fabrică dar și câți km sunt până la suprafață! Nimic nu este intamplator.

Cât timp durează pregătirea unei persoane pentru a se bucura de o bere sub apă?

Dacă persoana resectivă nu a mai experimentat niciodată scufundările, trebuie să participe la o pregătire de 40 de minute înainte de scufundare. Așadar, nu trebuie să fii scafandru brevetat pentru a putea vizita berăria subacvatică.

Ne asigurăm că fiecare persoană este echipată corespunzător și a înțeles toți pașii încă de la suprafață. Siguranță primează în Centrul de scufundări de la Dalnic.

Dacă ai un detentor în gură, cum bei berea? Cum reușești să bei lichide când te afli într-unul?

Totul îți este explicat pentru o scufundare în siguranță. Ne scufundăm, ne așezăm la bar (există și scaune de bar), și practic deschidem berea. Sticla trebuie acoperită cu un deget, ca apa din lac să nu se amestece cu berea și nici peștișorii să nu intre în sticlă. Scoatem detentorul din gură și începem să ridicăm sticla. Când sticla este lipită de gură începem și suflăm aer în ea, iar aerul acesta va împinge berea afară. Luăm detentorul înapoi, tragem aer și repetăm acțiunea.

Regulamentul scafandrilor interzice consumul de alcool sub apă?

Da, tocmai din acest motiv toată lumea va consuma berea pe proprie răspundere. Cei care nu-și asumă acest lucru vor putea savura berea la suprafață după ce găsesc comoara de mult pierdută a secuilor.

Cu siguranță, va fi o experiență inedită atât pentru parcipanții din lac cât și pentru ce care rămân la suprafață și privesc."
